The Seminoles were leading Boise State by two-plus touchdowns in Week 1. Willie Taggart’s team was leading No. 25 Virginia by a touchdown heading into the fourth quarter tonight. Both games ended with losses, though.Taggart and the Seminoles are now getting ripped for how they’ve finished games so far this season. Is Florida State a poorly-conditioned team? The Seminoles are surely undisciplined right now, amassing 10 penalties in the loss to Virginia.Florida State is now 1-2 and, if Taggart’s seat wasn’t warm before, it has to be now.Florida State just absolutely fell apart physically in the fourth quarter again. They look like a poorly conditioned team.— Dan Wolken (@DanWolken) September 15, 2019Folks, this is how you dehydrate a defense.Bryce Perkins’ magic on this 2-point play makes it 31-24 UVA over Florida State pic.twitter.com/0NDM9MBN2u— Yahoo Sports College Football (@YahooSportsCFB) September 15, 2019Florida State has FIVE personal foul penalties in the fourth quarter? I heard that but I still can’t believe it.Willie Taggert better hydrate. pic.twitter.com/wA9z8Efz12— Will Brinson (@WillBrinson) September 15, 2019Im shocked that a team coached by Willie Taggart is choking late in a game. Wonder if its hydration again.— Rickus (@DevRickus) September 15, 2019Florida State is now 1-2 on the season. The Seminoles were 5-7 in the first year of the Willie Taggart era in 2018.Next up for FSU: a home date vs. Louisville on Sept. 21.If the Seminoles lose that one, watch out.
