Last week, our Yahoo cash lineup fared pretty well. Having the Andrew Luck/T.Y. Hilton stack paid off for a lot of yardage, while Nick Chubb and Matt Breida each had big games at RB. We’re going to look to stay hot heading into Week 13, where the NFL DFS slate is loaded with quality players thanks to the disappearance of bye weeks from here on out. And our Yahoo cash lineup for Week 13 is demonstrative of the wealth of talent available (and the solid pricing that is coming with it).Our strategy this week was the usual one we’ve been using. Pick a solid, high-floor quarterback and stack him with a WR. From there, grab a couple of high-volume RBs and some value picks at the other receiver positions, TE, FLEX, and D/ST. That has been largely working for our squad this season, so there’s no need to change the strategy now. If anything, we might just look for more undervalued sleepers or weekly streamer candidates, but no more than we had been doing before. MORE WEEK 13 DFS: Values | Stacks | Lineup BuilderFLEX Chris Carson, Seahawks vs. 49ers ($19). Carson’s price is dropping because of his carry split with Mike Davis and/or Rashaad Penny. That said, Carson is still the clear leader in the backfield, and he has found the end zone in three of his last four outings. The 49ers are solid against RBs, but they are prone to allowing touchdowns (eight rushing TDs this year). DEF Indianapolis Colts @ Jaguars ($16). The Colts are getting a chance to play against newly minted starter Cody Kessler. He’s a pedestrian passer who is prone to getting sacked and may turn the ball over. This is a solid value for a defense that could be one of the higher-scoring options of the week. Week 13 Rankings:Quarterback | Running Back | Wide Receiver | Tight End | D/ST | KickerWeek 13 Yahoo Fantasy Football: NFL DFS picks for cash gamesQB Philip Rivers, Chargers @ Steelers ($32). I always like to get a QB in a good matchup that isn’t too high-priced in cash games. Rivers fits the bill here. I save $9 on the positional ceiling of $41 (Cam Newton) while getting one of the best QBs on the slate. Rivers has thrown multiple TDs in every game this season and is two weeks removed from a 400-plus yard performance. The Steelers have been decent against quarterbacks this year, but they have allowed multiple passing TDs in seven games this season. Rivers should be a high-floor player who could do better if this game turns into an offensive battle in prime time.RB Christian McCaffrey, Panthers @ Buccaneers ($32). Last week against the Seahawks, McCaffrey had one of his best games of the season, totaling over 100 rushing yards, over 100 receiving yards, and reaching the end zone twice. The Bucs have given up 100-plus yard rushing performances to Saquon Barkley and Matt Breida in the past two weeks, so we like McCaffrey’s chance to continue that streak. And since he catches the ball so much, he’s well-worth it as just the fifth-highest priced RB on the slate.WEEK 13 DFS CASH LINEUPS: FanDuel | DraftKingsRB Gus Edwards, Ravens @ Falcons ($21). We’ll spend down a bit more for our second RB position and target a breakout player in a great matchup. In each of the past two games, Edwards has posted over 100 rushing yards. He also has scored once in that time frame. Edwards has been facing weaker run defenses, and that won’t change in Week 13 against the Falcons. Atlanta has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to RBs this season, and if Edwards continues to see a high volume of opportunities, he will have a chance to break the century mark again. For $21, Edwards could end up paying off majorly.WR Keenan Allen, Chargers @ Steelers ($27). Stacking Allen with Rivers is bound to pay off. In the past three weeks, Allen has at least 57 receiving yards and a TD in every contest. He may have to face Joe Haden in this game, but Rivers will still find a way to get him the ball. He’s another high-floor player who could break out if he and Rivers can connect on a couple deep passes.WR Courtland Sutton, Broncos @ Bengals ($20). There is no reason to trust the Bengals defense at this point in time. It has shown nothing in recent weeks, and it just allowed Antonio Callaway to have arguably his best game of the season. Sutton should see an uptick in targets with Jeff Heuerman now out for the season, and before last week’s dud, he had logged yardage totals of 78, 57, and 78. In an easier matchup, he’s a good buy-low bounce-back candidate who should definitely see targets (which I like for cash games).WEEK 13 DFS GPP LINEUPS: Yahoo | FanDuel | DraftKingsWR Josh Gordon, Patriots vs. Vikings ($18). At first, I was going to go with Tyler Boyd in this slot, but a season-ending thumb injury to Andy Dalton made me reconsider. Gordon might actually be the better play, as he has totaled at least 70 yards in four of his last five games. The Vikings have a tough defense, but Xavier Rhodes left late against the Packers with an apparent hamstring injury. If he doesn’t play, the pricing on Gordon could be too low, and he could go off if the Vikings focus more on Julian Edelman and Gronk.TE Kyle Rudolph, Vikings @ Patriots ($15). Rudolph caught all seven of his targets last week for 63 yards. It seems that the Vikings are trying to get him more involved in the offense again. The Patriots don’t cover TEs well and entering Week 12, they had allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to the position. Rudolph could be in position for a solid game as a result, so we’ll take him at a relatively cheap price.
